Honored that What the Dog Knows will be part of the North Carolina Science Festival! I’ll be reading and talking about dogs, scent, and science at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18.

What the Dog Knows has climbed up to no. 16 on the New York Times Nonfiction Paperback Best Seller list three weeks after its release! It’s at no. 3 on the NYT Animal Books Best Sellers list, and no. 9 on the NYT Science Books Best Sellers list for April.

It’s also been at no. seven on NPR’s Nonfiction Paperback Bestseller List (which tracks independent book store sales) for four weeks in a row.
